Michelin-Starred Sushi Restaurant Azabu recently opened its doors in the South of Fifth area of Miami Beach. Azabu is the sister restaurant to Lolo’s Cantina both located in the Marriott Stanton South Beach on Ocean Drive.
The highly awaited Azabu Miami Beach was recently featured in Vogue as 2018’s most anticipated American restaurant openings and will be a fabulous addition to the South of Fifth restaurant scene.
Azabu Miami Beach will be led by Tokyo-trained chefs Masatsugu “Masa” Kubo and Kenichi “Ken” Fujimoto.
Unlike the New York City flagship restaurant Sushi Azabu, which is limited to a small underground sushi bar, the Miami Beach space will include a large main dining room with 80 seats, stylish wood decor, and an open kitchen so guests can observe the chefs in action. Bar Azabu will feature more than 40 different kinds of whiskeys and will utilize Imported Ingredients & Japanese-inspired presentation styles served in Handcrafted by a Japanese Artisans glassware in their cocktail program.
Many of Azabu’s plates will be cooked on a robata, a Japanese charcoal grill, and served in an izakaya dining style, where guests order a variety of small, shareable items that are served when ready versus all at once.
Worldwide Properties is excited about the addition of Azabu Miami Beach to the SoFi restaurant scene and can’t wait to savor everything on the menu!
