South of Fifth Newest Restaurant Additions

The South of Fifth neighborhood in Miami Beach is being transformed with new boutique condo developments as well as world-class restaurants.  Here are just a few new additions to the neighborhood as well as new developments underway we can’t wait to try!

Lobster Bar Sea Grille – 404 Washington Avenue

A glittering restaurant in the heart of South Beach, Lobster Bar Sea Grille showcases world-class seafood, prime steaks, and unparalleled service in a vibrant, upscale setting.
Located at 404 Washington Avenue, the Lobster Bar opened this Spring as part of the award-winning Buckhead Life Restaurant Group of Atlanta, owners of the popular Chops Lobster Bar and City Fish Market.

Guests can look forward to a restaurant with a sophisticated atmosphere complete with modern-contemporary nautical touches. The culinary team is headed by Executive Chef Arturo Paz bringing with him his experience from prestigious restaurants in LA and Miami.

Former TiramesU Restaurant being transformed into Jeremy Ford Restaurant – 101 Washington Ave.

Grove Bay Hospitality Group has recently subleased the former TiramesU space at 101 Washington Ave. in South Beach and formed a partnership with Top Chef Jeremy Ford. Ford received national acclaim from his Top Chef title on Bravo last year.

The exact restaurant concept planned to replace the former TiramesU space is still in the planning phases but we are excited to see what Ford and the Grove Bay Hospitality Group has in store for this new addition to the South of Fifth restaurant scene.

French bistro Le Piment – 864 Commerce Street

With two locations currently in St. Barts, Le Piment will be opening it’s newest restaurant in the South of Fifth on 864 Commerce Street. The current 1,250 square foot space is now being built out and will serve breakfast and dinner with moderate prices at this friendly neighborhood bistro.
This addition will be the restaurant’s first in the United States with plans to open in time for Art Basel Miami Beach.

South of Fifth Neighborhood New Boutique Real Estate Developments

Two new boutique developments will soon be debuting in the South of Fifth. Three Hundred Collins will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017 and features 19 residences with private outdoor spaces. Louver House located at 311 Meridian Avenue will be completed next month. This low-rise lux condo features 12-units ranging from 2,088 to 2,432 square feet.

While these two luxury developments are close to being sold out, there are still some fantastic residences available at the Louver House and 300 Collins.
